The wind blows away everything that does not have roots, everything that was not securely fastened to a solid surface.
The wind can not sweep away the ideas, hopes, injustice, the evil-doers .
In a world without ethics, all evil is securely attached to the surface. Perhaps there was never an appropriate way to select an entity that ethics can lead to a fairer world, but the righteous there are those who do not feel, those who fear the tyrant's power. Are closed, sheltered in their lair, but free to think, free to wonder why, too free to be outdoors where the wind swept them away.
All this to tell you that the wind is blowing!
