[The Feast of the Cabbage!] Polenta cake with blueberries and

I follow the blog regularly for a long time " The Brussels sprouts " Sigrid Verbert. This blog is a treasure trove of recipes, information about attractions, restaurants and foods.

Very often I cooked the recipes published (and always with good results), I recommended it to friends & relatives to consult, in turn, this blog, I traveled with pocket-blog pages printed in-house with advice on where to eat (such as during my recent trip to Rome).

In short, if it is "made by Cavoletto" is a guarantee! :)

Sigrid A year ago he published a book. Book that I did not hesitate in buying directly from the publisher, Cybele Fossano. "The Book of Cabbage," a collection of recipes, pictures and stories. A book of recipes I like it, simple but effective preparations, with beautiful photographs and an introduction to every recipe, where Sigrid tells the story of the dish.

Now to celebrate the first year since the release of this book Sigrid ha indetto un concorso: basta cucinare una ricetta del libro, pubblicare il tutto sul proprio blog e sperare di vincere uno dei bellissimi premi in palio. Certo che no! :)

  • lamponi freschi 400 g
  • burro 225 g
  • 225 g sugar
  • cornmeal for polenta (precooked not!) 175 g
  • eggs 4
  • white flour 60 g
  • lemon 1
  • baking powder 1 tsp
  • pure vanilla extract 1 teaspoon

Beat softened butter with sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, then vanilla extract, finely grated zest of lemon, then the flour and corn and wheat. Embed finally, gently, 150 g of raspberries and pour into a pan of 21 cm in diameter. Bake at 190 ° C for 40 minutes.

Quindi alla fine una "torta polenta and blueberry "throughout the province granda 0 km!

[Ok, the vanilla is not local, but of Madagascar.: P]

course it was huge success!

Thanks Sigrid :)
